This was a sweet, enjoyable story, and while it was a romance, it was about more than that. It was about becoming a better person, and how you can help influence the people and world around you. About putting in hard work to become more and cause change.
The female protagonist was easy to love and once I got started reading this story, I couldn't set it down. She was strong and courageous, determined to fix the mistakes from her past. Literally, it was hard to set this one down, I binge-read it in a couple days.
I liked that the story was well-developed as a whole, as well, not just the two main characters. Sometimes in romances it feels the main characters are all that is truly important and everything else is there as a filler, but that wasn't the case here. The love story, while enjoyable, wasn't the only focus. The story around it drove ahead regardless of the romance.
In regards to rating it from a Christian perspective, it as a fairly clean read, but there is some magic and the premise of reincarnation.
