Brigid of Ireland by Cindy Thomson is a good historic read with a fantasy style writing feel to it. The characters are rich and well thought out, and it's easy for the reader to connect with the main character, Brigid.
I actually didn't know about this lady at all until I started reading this book, as I am not well aware of the patron saints. I would certainly recommend this book to others.
