Review: This was an easy read that I enjoyed scrolling through over the course of a few nights. The beginning made you feel a little unsure at first, and I do wish the characters were a little better developed.

I do wonder if they compacted this version down from the original story because it felt a little quick and as if there might be some missing portions from one scene to the next. Not so bad as to wreck the overall reading experience, but enough that I wish there was more character development and story there. I don't only mean character development for the two lead characters, but also the supporting characters.

- SPOILER ALERT -

I was also a little disappointed in the end. It made it different from some of the other romances with the theme where the female lead wakes up in a different world and ends up staying with the prince or duke and living happily ever after. However, she went back to being a secretary instead of a queen, where she could have made a huge difference. And while I understand that she missed her home and her family, they then have the prince follow her, which made it worse in my opinion.

I get there is the element there of, "Oh the prince loves her so much he will follow her anywhere," but he gave up his duty as a future king, what he worked for his whole life, and what so many people counted on, to follow her. He is now in a new world himself and has lost his whole family for her, and she calls him, "Selfish" in that moment, which ticked me off! I'd actually have preferred if she would've had a budding romance with someone else at that point than to have had the prince follow her and have that ending, even though they ended up together.

The story, however, was good enough to enjoy the journey despite not caring for the end. I'd recommend for an easy, relaxing read.
