Title: The Protection of Lariensa Gelinus
Author: Han Suion, O.M.G.
Genre: Fantasy, Comic, Romance
Graphic Novel
Rating: 3/5 stars
This story is another one where the main character wakes up inside a novel she was reading.
There are things I both like and dislike about this story. One being that despite it being a romance, that wasn't the main character's focus, she actually was worried about protecting her best friend as her drive. Two, there were some humorous parts and I liked reading her relationship with her best friend, it was refreshing to have a good friend relationship.
What I didn't like about the story though, was who she ended up with. I just... really don't care for the male lead and don't think it was a good romantic relationship or that she should be with him. And he really mainly seemed interested in her because of her initial disinterest. It didn't feel like a healthy romance.
Clean Read?
To be honest, I waited too long to write the review on this one, so the details are a little fuzzy. I don't recall there be glaring nudity or cussing, or even objectional sorcery. However, there were some dark parts regarding abuse, stalking, mild violence.
The story was cohesive and enjoyable in terms of readability. It may be a good read for someone who enjoys the main character 'saving' the dark villainous male lead.
Enjoy your next adventure!
