"The Readymade Queen" Graphic Novel Review

Title: The Readymade Queen

Author: DODAM-EO, KUB

Genre: Comic, Fantasy, Romance

Graphic Novel

Rating: 5/5 stars

Simply put, this story was about a woman who is forced to play the role of a princess to save her life.

This read seemed to be more focused on politics than the elements of romance traced throughout it. I'm not typically someone huge into noble politics, but this story made it interesting and the cunning of the main character drew you in.

It also felt empowering, despite it being about revenge, perhaps because the main character is easy to like due to her wit and charm. It was also a mildly amusing story at parts, and I found myself rather enjoying it.

I did wish the ending took us a little further, but I guess that's a common complaint of mine. It did, after all, wrap up the main points. I suppose wanting to read more is a good sign!

Clean Read?

There was violence and revenge in this story, but it didn't feel like an overly dark story.

Enjoy your next adventure!
